Tried to search past threads...but, looking to put in an internal DVD/CDR burner on my Dell with XP Home. Any recommendations for
the DVD drive and then the software. I ended being happy with Nero for CDR burns...but, unfamiliar with DVD authoring.

TIA!

Apparently the new Nero 6 includes DVD plugins as standard for burning DVD's

S_I--

I'd stick with Nero--drill their site and google Nero/DVD burning--it has
considerably less propensity to conflict with Windows XP and other apps like
NAV, i.e crash and sometimes irreversibly. I use them both. Nero is more
stable, and updates plug-ins frequently and has just plain more
functionality.
