This probably sounds dumb, but the Model # in device
manager, does not come up on the Sony website. How do I
find the Sony Model # to check for updated drivers, etc?
 
Check the bottom of the drive for the actual model number, we might be using
a base driver.

What model number do you have? If you're using an OEM version of the drive,
you definitely won't find anything on Sony's web page. I'd originally purchased
the OEM version of the 510a. I decided to trade it in on the retail version (only
$33 more), because of better support and the included software.
