I have purchased a DVD-rw drive. Without thinking the
IDE ribbon cable from the MB is connected to my CDRW and
HDD. There are only 2 connectors on that cable. Can I
get a 3 connector cable or what is the best way to
connect the DVDRW drive?

Two ways to do it. 1) Take out the CD-RW and replace it with the DVD-RW.
DVD-RW's will also write CD-R's and -RW's. 2) Buy a PCI IDE adaptor. This
will give you extra IDE connections.

Yes, you can purchase an IDE cable that has 3 connectors.
1 for the MB connector and 2 for peripherals. Make sure
you buy one that is of sufficient length. It will be a 40
wire (pin) cable, not an 80.

Your motherboard should have 2 IDE channels (connectors) on the motherboard
to allow connection of up to 4 IDE devices, 2 per channel. IDE cables
usually have 2 device connectors on them. You probably just need another
IDE cable...
