DVD+RW how do I eraze

I have just succeeded for the first time to record a VHS tape onto a DVD (DVD+RW) rewriter, as this was just a test run I used a DVD+RW
I now cannot eraze my test run of the DVD+RW, surely this must be possible, otherwise why is it called
4xDVD+RW 4.7GB Premium Grade Protective Coated Multi Speed Rewritabe DVD+RW

this really depends upon the program used to burn the Movie to the DVD
If you used a UDF program like INCD which treats the DVD like any other HD
erasing comes easy.
If you used a specific DVD burning program it most likely treated the DVD like a
DVD-R and you need to look into that program for its erase feature.
