I just installed a new Sony DRU510A DVDRW drive and it seems to work fine
except that after I add or remove files from a rewriteable disk and then
access any other drive, the light on the new Sony drive doesn't stop
blinking until after I remove the disk from the drive. This is very
annoying as the drive light is just about 10 inches from my monitor. Is
there any way to prevent this from occurring, or is it possible that the
drive was not installed properly?
The disk was formatted with Roxio Easy CD Creator Platinum V5.x with the
latest updates installed. My computer is a Dell 4100 with a 1GHZ cpu, 512MB
ram, a Maxtor 60GB (C
drive with 40GB freespace, and an IBM 75GB (D
drive with approximately 12GB freespace.
