DVD-ROM Problem

when I insert a cd in my dvd-rom player it will work proper,but when i go
and replace the cd with a different one the player does not see it but
instead says it is the first cd that was inserted.
If I reboot then the player will work with the first cd inserted but
nothing else.I'v cleaned the laser and reinstalled the drivers,no change.
Any Idea's??

Open My Computer, select the drive with a right click, check
properties. You can also try the refresh button on the
right click menu.
If you can't find a setting in properties to fix the
problem, open device manager and remove the drive and
reboot, this should reinstall the drivers.

Thanks Jim tried what you said but still have the same problem

It acts as if it has stored the first cd in memeory and not dumping it
when a different cd is inserted.
