dvd reading problems

hello there!!
please help.
my dvd player does not read data cd and music cd it reads only
dvd-movies.
Pls tell me what to do.I have upgraded firmware but it work for some
time and stop afew days ago.

No one here knows what operating system you have, what DVD player, what
software you are using, what error messages you are seeing, if any, etc.
etc. We can't guess, so help us out by explaining your problem with details.
