Dennis

I have recently upgraded to Windows XP, from Windows ME.
Problem:
I make backup a back up copy of my DVD movies, using DVD
X-copy.
I have a DVD drive, and a DVD writer in my computor.
Since I have upgraded to Windows XP, it takes 3 to 4
times longer for my DVD drive to read a DVD movie to my
computer (drive has a DVD reading speed listed as 16x;
and now takes an hour to read a DVD movie to my computer,
when it used to do it in 15-20 minutes).
Is there any way to speed up the reading speed ?

Thanks for any help, u can give me.

You will need to re-install the motherboard's chipset drviers. Ultra DMA
access IDE drivers are not normally part of XP.
