My LG Sata burner is installed in XP SP3 and all appears well both in device
manager and by using Nero Info. However although labelled in Explorer as a
DVD-RAM it does not show any files on any type of disk and cannot burn.
I think I recall reading that a SATA CD-ROM or DVD-RAM burner might have
problems with some SATA ports. My KN1 SLi Extreme MB has 4 standard SATA
ports with the burner connected to port 4. The MB also has two further SATA
ports 5 & 6 which I am using for SATA RAID 1.
Before I start swopping around the devices to different ports I would like
some feedback on whether this could be my DVD-RAM problem?
