The lens of your PC dvd-rom drive requires cleaning.
Cleaning disks are affordable and readily available.

so my dvd/cd drive that used to play my burned movies and cds all of a
sudden wont but will play fine on my PS2....i bought a cleaning disc today
and went through its process about 10 times[give or take] and its only a
little bit better....wat should i do?

It could be a media player issue, or a conflict etc.
Do you receive any on screen error messages when
playback chugs to a halt?
Have you tried playback in any other media player?

no there's no error message it juss chugs...freezes...chugs a lil
again..freezes...repeat i played it with the media player and power
dvd....same results.....maybe its juss really dirty.....ive had this drive
for 2 years and this is the 1st time ive cleaned the lens
