Using Movie Maker, I created a DVD from an .avi file, but the screen size is
half.
SOS!

What was the resolution of the AVI file you used to create the DVD file?

(use G-Spot to check the original file and find out...

What you're looking for is how many pixels by how many pixels..... A
standard DVD resolution would be 720 x 480 (NTSC) and 576 x 480 (PAL).

DVD's are produced to a specific standard.

In the United States, a DVD is mastered at 720x480 at 30 fps. The bitrate
can be constant or variable, and there are several options for the audio.

DVD authoring software will author all video to the above 720x480 standard.
If you want "full screen", you'll have to author your video to something
other than "DVD Standard".

Your use of the term "full screen" is not specific enough for an exact
answer. "full screen" means nothing, as monitors have a wide range of
native resolutions.

Check the video resolution at rendering. Output should be at least 520 X
480. If wide-screen, I think it has to be minimum 720 X 480.

Good luck!
