I have just upgraded my operating system from an ME
package to windows 2000 pro. If I try to play a DVD on the
exsisting drive, I get a screen saying that I dont have
any decoder for this device, and to contact the
manufacturer. They were no help at all. The DVD is a
Samsung SD612s, and the PC is a Packard Bell Imedia6175.
The PB website dosn't recognise the PC model number!. Can
anyone advise me on what to do. Thank you very much. richy

1.) There is no supported upgrade path from WinME to Windows 2000
2.) You'll need to get some software for your device.
