Howdy:
Like the subject line says, I'm looking for a freeware DVD player
software. I just got a Lite-On CD-R/W burner that has a DVD-ROM
feature and I think I would like something simpler than the CyberLink
PowerDVD XP 4.0 that game bundled with it. Or should I stick with the
PowerDVD thingie? Just want to view DVDs that my sister-in-law makes
of her crumb snatchers.

Thanks.

Media Player Classic

You'll want to use this to play all of your vids.

I like power dvd better than any freeware I have found, I would stick with
it.

All the DVD's I have viewed on my PC have auto-installed their own DVD player.
The one I like is WinVideo by InterVideo. Just pop a DVD into your PC and
browse the folders. You should find a DVD player in there.

That is, if you don't mind copy protection and who knows what other
kind of crap is included. Remember, Intervideo *comes with the movies*.
