I am currently using a digital camcorder that only has DV-OUT. My intention is to use MM2 to edit my movies and then burn them to DVD using MyDVD5. Should the end qulaity of my DVD based movie be close to the original recording or will I notice a vast difference?
I have read that the best option is to output back into the camera and then record off that, as my camera does not have DV-IN this is not possible, I have considered changing the camera but would prefer not too.
As a novice, I enjoy using MM2 because of it's simplicity, how easy is MyDVD5 to use? should I just use this to burn the DVD and do all editing in MM2 still?
Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I think you'll be happy going down the path you're heading. Editing in MM2
and burning DVDs with MyDVD. There shouldn't be a need to go back to the
camcorder.
