DVD Playback confined to primary monitor

Kathy

Windows 98 SE Athlon 1.2 GB PC
ATI Radeon VE Video Adapter
Primary - NEC MultiSync LCD 1530V Monitor
Secondary - Samsung SyncMaster 150MP Monitor [has TV tuner built in]

PowerDVD allows the DVD playback window to be moved to either monitor. It
seems odd that the ATI DVD Player 7.1 [DirectShow] that came with this dual
video card only works on the primary monitor; it does not allow itself to
be moved to the secondary monitor. Am I missing something?

Thanks.

I've just switched extended desktop on to see what happens... the overlay
(DivX movie in MP6.4, but shouold work the same) is shown on the screen in
which most of the overlay should be.

If you are not using extended desktop you must set up the clone mode in the
overlay tab in the advanced display control panel.

The weird things is that all my ati tabs have gone from that section! I'll
have to reinstall the drivers... very odd.
