I'm looking for freeware to organize my DVD movie collection quickly.
Basically I want the program to query something similar to CDDB (IMDB
Maybe) for information on a movie after inserting the DVD movie into my
drive. I would then like to be able to save this information to a database,
and be able to search this database.

I currently use Feurio! (not freeware) for this purpose for music CD's, and
I would like something similar for DVD movies.

Thanks,

Phil

Ant Movie Catalog. It supports scripts for IMDB, picture import from Amazon,
and a lot of other sites I never heard of :)

Does Ant actually read DVD's inserted into the drive though? If so, I haven't been
able to figure it out. I thought with Ant you have to type in each title?

Yes, I think that is the case. However, it is much quicker to type titles in
a text file, one row per title, and then import txt into catalog.

You might like to investigate MediaMan.

Not sure whether/how one would turn off Price and Availability Tracker
though if you didn't want it. Haven't had time to take a closer look.

It also catalogues books, CDs, etc.

Regards, John.
