I bought an internal DVD-RW drive, LG GSA-H10L. I put it in the computer and
XP doesn't recognize it's there. It gets power and blinks when a disk is put
in. I took it out and put it in an external case with a USB connection,
still wasn't recognized as being there. I use all my USB slots, they work
with other things. So currently this drive is sitting there, with power, but
not found by my computer. The jumper is on cable select. Any suggestions?
The LG website for this product stinks. I will never buy an LG product again
because of it.

Thanks,
Christi

Try setting the jumper for master

If it's in an external USB enclosure it's always set to Master regardless of
how any other drives are jumpered.
