I have a problem with one of my DVD's, I put it into Drive D: but my pc
fails to recognise that there is a DVD present.
I have checked with other DVD's and they seem fine, but this one disk just
puts a message on screen that says "please insert disk in drive D:"

The DVD itself is ok and plays fine in DVD player, It just isn't recognised
by PC.
The DVD is region 2.

Is there anything I can do to correct this problem?.
Thanks in advance,
John.

Right click on My Computer and select Properties. Select the Hardware tab
and click on Device Manager. Find your DVD drive, right click and select
Properties. Select DVD Region tab. At the bottom is your DVD set for
region 2?

If your drive is set to region 2, check that the DVD is clean and not
scratched.
