DVD Maker Gives "Dvd burner not found" error

My Sony DVD-RW DW-g120A will burn dvds everywhere except windows DVD maker,
where it either freezes up or gives me the message "DVD Burner not found.
Please make sure a DVD burner is installed, and then try again." I know my
dvd Player is installed, so does anyone know a cure for this?

Please post here the manufacturer/brand name,type/category and model number
of your optical drive.


I have the same problem with Movie maker and DVD burner not found. can
anyone help?

If you meant to say `Matsushita` as the manufacturer company/brand
name,there exists no such model it seems.Please provide here the
complete,full,whole(for the sake of emphasizing) and exact manufacturer
company/brand name.
