Scott

I recently upgraded from windos xp home to xp pro on my
laptop and ever since have been unable to use my dvd/cd-r
combo drive to play dvd's. It plays cd's and burns them
just fine and yet refuses to play dvd's. Needless to say
I'm not a computer wiz and would appreciate any help
offered. Thanx

I hope we find an answer to this on... I have an extra
dimension to add to this problem. After upgrading to XP
home Ed. NETHER of my drives recognizes the presence of a
DVD. I have tried different apps (WinDVD 4.0, Power DVD)
with the same result. Reinstalled the hardware, driver...
Every other format (Music CD, Games, Rewritables etc...)
works fine. Only DVD give message: NO DISK

Anyone? Please!
