dvd drive not showing up

Hi
I am having problem with my D drive ( dvd rom) which
has suddenly disappeared from my computer menu and
is not detected by any applications either.My Antivirus
program (NAV 2003)did not detect any virus in
system but I noticed a red mark (crossed) next to TOSHIBA
DVD-ROM SD-M1612 which is drive-in-question.I
also tried to update driver and scan for hardware
changes but with no sucess.DEVICE STATUS:This device
is disabled-code 22.Iam also posting hijack log in case
it might help but I am very helpless in this
situation am an newbie.Any help will be greatly
appreciated - Thanks
