dvd drive lg gdr8161b dl support

Is there any chance to get dvd +or -r dl support on this drive?
I recently flashed the firmware to 0102 version(latest found) but couldn't
get my drive to read correctly dl dvd-rom...
Help appreciated

If the drive does not support DL, then nothing can be done to make it
support DL. Replace it. DL drives are inexpensive.
