I have a HP DVD 100i. Recently it disappeared along with my CD Drive. I went through the whole registry thing and they are back. The problem now is the software that came with the Drive (HP record now) does not recognize it as a readable device. Looking at the properties of the drive it does have the record tab. I don't know what else to try

Did you right click on the drive and check "use with DLA"? You might also try reinstalling RecordNow & DLA. Just a thought.
