DVD DECODER??

HAVE NEW EMACHINE AND DVD DOES NOT PLAY.SAYS A COMPATIBLE DVD DECODER IS NOT
INSTALLED ON THIS COMPUTER. WHAT SHOULD I DO? AM COMPUTER ILLIT.THANKS

First...turn off your caps lock.

If a computer comes from the factory with
a DVD drive installed...the software should
be included. Check your spec sheet and
be sure you have a DVD drive...and if you
do...it might be a good idea to contact the
EMachine support site at the following link.

Hi,

You will need softwares like Win DVD or Power DVD which have inbuild dvd decoders.

Check your computer and if it is a preinstalled OEM Version, it is likely that there will be one of them installed.
