DVD Decoder and catalyst driver

I have a powercolor 9800SE AIW.

When i installed the latest catlayst drivers (4.9) it mentioned something
about it was not possible to install DVD decoder. It asked for original CD
qhich came with graphics card. I installed the CD but it syill could not
install the DVD decoder driver.

Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

If your board did not come with an ATI DVD decoder then you have to buy an
ATI installation CD to get it. The reason for this is that the decoder is
licensed software and ATI has to pay for every copy they distribute.
 
When you install 4.9 and it asks for the original driver CD.
you made need to point out where the driver CD is.
The 4.9 install may have been looking in the wrong place.
