DVD/CD-Rom Drive HELP!

Hi,
Well everytime I try and run a game cd it will not load
becuase appartly there is no CD-ROM drive. Music cds and
DVD's work fine in there. Also when i go to my computer
the CD-ROM drive link (picture) has disappeared. What do
I do? Please Help!
