After making your movie on MM2, what program do you use to burn your DVD?
I use Sonic My DVD 5.2 , but would be interested to know what other people
recommend.
Thanks
Peter

Hello,

I use Nero 6. A very accomplished program from obvious good stock....Nero
being perhaps the best known program for creating DVD and CD's now has an
accomplished if not totally friendly editing environment with some rather
nice features...Downloading the trial version would be a wise thing to do.

I completely agree with John.

I've tried both Nero 6 and MyDVD 5, and I'd say that
Nero is by far a better program. For DVD Authoring,
it gives you a number of quality/compression options
for encoding, and it's built-in editor is much better
than MyDVD's.

Plus, Nero 6 is so much more than just a DVD Authoring
program. Take a look for yourself at http://www.nero.com

I've had nothing but aggravation with Nero. Besides the program which is
garbage, forget about getting any help from tech support either by phone or
email. The biggest problem is the life wasting amount of time to burn the
DVD. Nero takes 4 hours, Sonic takes 2 minutes. Maybe I'm doing something
wrong other than trying to make DVD's in the first place.

See responses to your post (I know you wrote that after this post)
Aside from that, I have and use Nero but I use it mainly for burning data to
DVD.
For instance I ripped every audio CD I have and fit the MP3's onto 2 DVD's
and now have virtually every song in my library (about 4000 last count) in
my 10 disk DVD changer creating a jukebox of sorts.
But for DVD authoring I prefer Roxio Easy CD Creator and/or ULead Movie
Factory.
They do basically the same job as Nero but are much easier to use and
actually create my DVD's a bit faster than Nero does.
