DVD burning problems

Just bought anew LG 4081b burner that comes with NTI DVD Maker software.
Running XP Home with 768 memory and a huge HD.. The problem i am having is
while i am adding jpegs etc (data) to the disc, it REPLACES the files
already burned on the disc(?) It is almost as if this works the same way cd
burning sessions are finaalized with some software and therefore you cna
only replace files on disc and not ADD each time, if you follow what i mean.
I want to be able to continually add stuff to fill the disc (different
sessions)and it seems the software is the problem besides my ignorance of
how to do this, if it can be done. I had CD burning down cold until i bought
this burner, now the learning curve is begun again, with dvds!!!!
Any help with this is appreciated,thank you.

Can you select multisession. I use Nero for both CD and DVD burning
 
I have ONLY Nero Express on my machine. I am more interested in how to get
it to work with what i have been provided rather than invest in more.
