Could never afford to buy the Plextor, but the price has dropped, and, in my opinion are the best on the market. However, you cant go wrong with either of the other two makers.

Go for a Pioneer 16speed one. Pioneer are the Man Utd of dvd burning!!!:_)

ive seen this one model around for abt 50-70quid and its one im definetly buying once ive got enough dosh!
 
pikakilla: the Pioneer A108 is probably the one I'd go for. Kinda tempted by the Samsung atm though, Overclockers.co.uk are doing it for around £46.00 + shipping this week. And it comes in black or Ivory. The Pioneer A108 is around £58.00 plus shipping.
