dvd back up

i`ve recently purchased a pc with both a cd and dvd writing drive. i can make back up copies of my cd`s and put them on to my hard drive no problem, but my dvd`s no chance. how can i back up my dvd collection on to my hard drive?
 
Why?

The DVD is not going to die. Hard drive will die long before.

The two (freeware) tools I use to back up my DVDs to the hard drive (and
then to DVD-R media if you like) are DVD Decrypter
