hi,

i have edited and saved to hard drive a movie using movie maker. i converted
and burned to dvd using roxio. when played in my dvd player the quality is
not that good, people and scenes are "wobbly", the tapes are better when
played throught the tv. is there something i am not doing correctly or
anything i should be doing that i am not.

please help cheers!!!!!

A dvd file is compressed from a minidv file, so you will lose some quality,
but generally it shouldn't be noticeable.

A good dvd should be no more than an hour long, after that the compression
starts to show.

If you capture as a wmv then you have already compressed the movie once,
compressing again to dvd won't help, always capture edit and save as dv-avi
files.

thanks graham. sorry to sound stupid, but when you say "capture and edit and
save as dv-avi files", how do i choose this? as far as i know movie maker
saves automatically and roxio converts automatically, without being able to
change setting, or am i missing something??!!!!
