I have a 105 GB HD and 5 GB available spece. Am unable
to make movie to my digital camera, although this has
been possible with other movies. In attempting to test
disk burning the poject was too large (725MB) for my CDR
disks but the project icons had about 10% of this size
(available by clicking file icon), probably because of
compression.

Would 5 GB hard drive availability be insufficient to
permit conversion to DV movie?

Replied to your other posting.... NOT ENOUGH SPACE.... a 51 minute AVI is
going to be approximately 10.7gb.

Do NOT ever allow the hard drive free space to fall below 15% of the total
drive. It's a really bad idea. If a hard drive gets full, chances are it
will be totally inaccessible. Permanently.
