I got to capture 2 DV's from my Sony DCR-H16E and succesfully edit them etc. using Windows Movie Maker 2.0.3312.0.
On trying to capture a third, the capturing freezes on the first frame and does not copy 1 image or second to disk.
I've tried everything: downloading Movie Maker again, rebooting, reconnecting etc.
I see this problem has been signalled before, but has not been answered definitively.
On my brandnew PC (Pentium 4, 1.024 Mb RAM, 220 Gb disk, etc) I have all the updated versions of the related software, so that can't be the problem. Besides: twice I got Movie Maker to perform as expected!
