Hi all,
still no solution for that camcorders not recognized by default with
WindowsXP?

What can i do?

Any patch or driver?

I can't use a Sony DCR-TRV22E with my two notebooks (one with WinXP Home
and one with WinXP Pro).

TIA

Ensure the camcorder is connected via the firewire cable, is set to VCR mode
and powered with A/Cpower and NOT by its own battery.

Thanks for answering.
The camcorder is powerd with A/Cpower.... t be sure i've removed the
battery. But still doesn't work. I connect it via firewire (4pin/4pin),
then i set it to VCR mode but windows doesn't recognize it.

Any help?

Did you install Service Pack 1 for Windows XP, this will help for many
camera's.

Yes, SP1 is installed.
Maybe SP2 will fix this issue...
