When saving an edited movie back to DV, i dont get the option of saving as
DV-AVI, what am i doing wrong??

Hello,

After clicking on FILE > SAVE MOVIE FILE and working through the wizard are you
clicking on "Show More Options" so that you get the full range of file options?
DV-AVI is perhaps 3/4 way down the list

Hello again,

Having looked again at your message I am not sure now of what you are looking
for. When you save back to DV are you asking about saving back to your DV
camera?

Mart,

Nothing wrong, the option to save back to your camcorder is automatically
taken care of by a temporary DV-AVI file, which is then copied.

If you want a DV-AVI file on your computer, save it there first and then use
a utility to copy it to your camcorder.

So what is the problem?

1. When saving an edited movie back to DV, i dont get the option of saving
as
DV-AVI, what am i doing wrong??

2. Its when im downloading a movie from the camera!!

.....i havent a F#@King clue what im doing!!!....

Perhaps start again with each aspect of the process clearly defined for us
to try and help you with.

How is the camera connected? Using what cable? connected to what port?
List all the options you choose when either capturing, or trying to capture
depending on what your actual problem is? or which settings you choose when
trying to save after editing.
