As best I can tell (using GSpot) the DV-AVIs I save using WMM are Type1, and
WMP, at least the latest version I just dld, will not play a Type1 AVI. A
Type2, as generated by WinDVD, plays fine, while a TYPE1 produced by WinDVD
won't play. I've been over this with WoJo, but still don't have an answer as to
why WMP won't Play AVIs generated by WMM on my XP SP2 computer. Gspot says WMP
is using a "DV Splitter" on th Type1s, but I can't find any such thing on my
machine.
I hate to be beating this horse to death, but really would like to find an
answer to this poser.
