DV and DVD clips in Powerpoint or Producer

Having trouble inserting DVD clips into Powerpoint.
Please advise any help in doing this; if it can be done.

"Rip" the clips from the DVD, assuming that you have permission to use
copyrighted materials on the DVD. See
