This is slightly off topic and different from most postings.
Since I know there are some Dutch readers here,I am looking for a simple
program in the Dutch language that will manipulate digital pictures.
Especially resizing is important. I myself use the free Coffeecup viewer
and would like something similar in Dutch.
Thanks very much for your help.

Irfanview at http://www.irfanview.com/ , dutch language file available at
http://www.irfanview.net/lang/nederlands.zip, unzip this to the
language-folder (located in the irfanview-folder), open Irfanview:
options>change language.

<Dutch>
versie is:
http://photofiltre.free.fr/utils/pf-setup-nl.exe

irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com)
XNview (http://www.xnview.com)

managment pakket (bekijken, catalogiseren, ect)

</Dutch>

<English>
Phoofiltre will be able to do this for you. It is downloadable at
http://www.photofilre.com The direct download link to the dutch version is:
http://photofiltre.free.fr/utils/pf-setup-nl.exe

Other programs with a dutch language module include:
irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com)
XNview (http://www.xnview.com)

Although these to programs are capabable of enlaging and reducing, if find
photofiltre more a photoediting package, while the others are more
photomanaging packages (viewing/ catalogue, ect..)
</English>

Any spelling or translation mistakes are purely deliberate ;-) Written in
quite in a rush

Hoewel the Gimp door

The OP's request was for a simple program. Although the Gimp is considered a
great program by several members of this newsgroup, it isn't simple.
Irfanview and XNview are much comparitable to Coffeecup viewer , which
(s)he's using now.

Well, I don't know Coffeecup and GIMP sure does "manipulate digital
images". Just wanted to give another alternative :-)

Coffeecup is miles/km behind the Gimp.
Heeeeyyyyy, where are you from?

On the side of the border where they say "vast en zeker" instead of "zeker
en vast", a place AKA Lighttown.

Yes, the offical name of the municipality is Standpants, indeed. Even with
out the 'well' part... (or at least the name is suposed to be derived from
the Dutch word for 'well', according to archaeologists )

KollossaalKatje (see what you make me do ;-) )

Well well, I see that a lot of Brabo's are participating in here. Nice
to see that. I live in a little village in the neighbourhood of
's-Hertogenbosch.

With kind Brabo-regards,
