Duplication of Contacts folder

When I go to send and email and select the name from my contacts, firstly I
couldn’t find any contacts at all. Then, after a while I noticed that it was
looking in the Contacts file of 'Personal Folder' rather than my own mailbox.

I then followed MS Support details by going to the Outlook navigation Pane,
clicking contacts, right click>properties>choose outlook address tab and then
checking the ‘Show this folder….’ Box.

Having done this I found I had 2 contacts folders.

One has all my contacts in (that is synchronized with my phone) the other
has none.

Any ideas how to get rid of the empty one?

Right click on the contacts list on your Personal Folders.

You should see a tab saying 'Outlook Address Book'. Untick 'Show as an
address book' and it should go.

This just gets rid of the Contacts file with all my contacts in. I can't even
find a way to copy the contacts from one to the other so your instructions
would then work...

Hi Stweart - I have got rid of the folder by going TOOLS > E MAIL ACCOUNTS >
VIEW OR CHANGE A NEW DIRECTORY OR ADDRESS BOOK. I deleted the address book
there and now I no longer have the duplication. However, I am concerned that
I do not have a 'Follow-up' folder (where all flagged mail is colated). Any
advice?
