Duplicating Calendars

First - let me say that these new discussion groups changes are awful. I
takes me ten-fifteen times clicking on the "new" buttom to be able to ask a
question. Each time all I get is a small hand, with a yellow star and a red
exclamation point. Yes...I am signed in, but sometimes I have to signout
and back in again too. It's very frustrating. Can we have our old system
back, please!

Now - I have three secretaries that are now using Outlook 2003. Each
sectretary serves two attorneys. All of the attorney's have some type of
handle device for re-direction of their emails. They also sync their
calendars. When the secretaries open their own calendar screen they have
access to their two attorney's calendar as well...but there are always 2 or 3
calendar for each attorney. I believe that it has something to be with the
hand-held sync'ing, but I don't know how to stop it.
This is happening with both Palm Pilot and Blackberrys.

There should be only one main calendar for each attorney. If there are more,
please explain whether you're using Exchange and/or .pst files and where the
extra calendars come from.

Thanks for trying to help me, Sue - I am really at a loss. We are using
anExchage 2003 server. Each of the attorney's hand-helds that snyc with
their own computers when they are outside of the office. I believe that is
what is causing the duplicated calendars, but I really don't know for sure.
I believe that because the calendars are not the same. i.e. If an appt is
added to the attorney's hand-held, that appt will appear on one of the
calendars but not all of the calendars. sometimes Debbie will have three
and even four copies of her attorney's calendar. Is there somewhere that I
can go to read about Exchange and handheld devices.

Start by looking at the basic attorney setup in Outlook. Is their Exchange
mailbox the default delivery store (i.e. the one where they see Outlook
Today if they click on the root folder)? Do they also have .pst files in
their profile?
