I restored my previously archived e-mails to their
original folders and changed the default date for my
autoarchive settings. Unfortunately, I didn't realise,
when they were restored, that a copy was retained in the
archived folder. Hence when they were next autoarchived
it created multiple copies in both the original and the
archived folders.
As I have hundreds of folders and thousands of e-mails:-
(a) Is there any quick way to search for and eliminate
the multiple copies?
(b) Is there any setting that I can change to eliminate
the production of multiple copies in the future? I did
not see this option when I made the previously mentioned
changes, although I seem to remember it when I tranferred
E-mails from old computers using the Import/Export
Command.
