Hi.
I am having a problema that I can't find an answer anywhere. I've just
installed Win2003 Server Standard and all my clients are XP Pro. I activated
the Terminal Services on the server and everyone connects OK.
The problem I am having is that for each printer on the client, it enables 2
different ones on the server...When the client logs off, only one of the
duplicate printers get removed. The other one I have to stop-start the print
spooler service for get them removed from the system. I tried consulting with
a couple of administrators throughout our organization, but none of them have
seen this problem before.
I am using the correct drivers supplied by Microsoft for all printers.
In my case specifically (but it happens to everybody), I have 2 printers
locally defined in my PC. But when I logon to the server, the printers appear
as this:
HP LaserJet 4100N on pegasus_server (from TEC_RPAREJA) in session 1
HP LaserJet 4100N on pegasus_server (from TEC_RPAREJA) in session 1, 1
HP LaserJet 8150 PCL 6 on pegasus_server (from TEC_RPAREJA) in session 1
HP LaserJet 8150 PCL 6 on pegasus_server (from TEC_RPAREJA) in session 1, 0
Now when I log off, only the
HP LaserJet 4100N on pegasus_server (from TEC_RPAREJA) in session 1
HP LaserJet 8150 PCL 6 on pegasus_server (from TEC_RPAREJA) in session 1
gets removed.
The printers that shows the session as 1, 1 and 1, 0 don't get removed.
If I logon again, I get 4 new printer definitions, when I log off, 2
printers are left
behind again....so every time I logon-logoff, I leave 2 printers behind.
Eventually
the spooler service collapses.
Please I need your help.
