Recommendations on a dupe pix finder

Point it a LIST OF DIRECTORIES and it finds all dupes in of any pix in those
directories, moves to dupes to a specified directory, renaming if needed, review
mode to determine if they are dupes.

I've looked at few, but all require the building a of dupe compare database. At
this time that mode is not what I am looking for, I need to parse through a set
of directories and find the dupes.

Well if you can't find any Freeware I can strongly recommend ThumbsPlus. It
has a find similar feature that works quite well. It will group all similar
images in a collection that you then have to go through and rename or delete
manually. You can find it at <www.cerious.com> A demo is available.

Very good indeed for ferreting out binary exact dupe files.

However will not check for "similar" pictures the way Thumbsplus does.

Very nice util nevertheless.
