When creating profiles in previous versions of Outlook I was used to
choosing the location of my pst file (important for backup procedures)
during setup of a mail account. 2002 creates a default pst and buries it
deep in the root dir e.g C/.. /Outlook/outlook.pst This comes up as Outlook
Today with all the usual subfolders.
If I follow the instructions for moving to another pst file it creates a
second personal folder (with a path to say,
Peter/Outlook/pstLocation/peter.pst) but the originally created personal
folder called Outlook today with path C/.. /Outlook/outlook.pst remains.
To avoid confusion of employees in my small office I need to have one
personal folder with one location for a sensibly named pst file (not
'outlook.pst') which I can copy and backup easily. How ca\n I get rid of the
default personal folder that 2002 creates please.
Help very gratefully received
