Hi all
Not sure if this is where i should post this, but gonna anyways..
I have a 2000 small business server that for some reason decided that there
was a duplicate name on the network, which there isn't. it will allow
connections to shared folders ok in this condition, but will not allow our
pos software to connect to the database, which we need to run the shop.
service pack 4 and updates etc., are all installed, i've tried unplugging
our router to remove the dhcp server from the network, no change. Should i
just change the name of the server to resolve this?
Any suggestions would be welcome..
Kris
