Duplicate music entries

In transfering files to a new computer running XPHome, i ended up having
duplicates of all music files (just the tunes, fot the folders). Is there an
easy way to fix this? (about 3,500 files)

See response in the other newsgroup you posted in.
 
They are not duplicates, but are cross-files. Delete one and you'll also
delete the "duplicate".
