Hi,

In Outlook 2002 SP-2, when I click the Reply All button and there are
several addresses involved (the From address and 1 or more CC addresses),
the addressees get 2 identical emails from me.

I am connected to Exchange 2000 for internal company email and to an email
account on a external ISP.

Anyone have an idea of why this happens?? Or how I can prevent the
duplicates??

TIA,

Mark

Hi Milly,

Thanks for responding.

I'm not sure what you said applies to my situation. I've seen what you
describe happen when I click the "New message to contact" button on an
Outlook Contact property sheet, and that contact has more than one email
address.

The problem I am having occurs when I receive an email from an individual,
and it has a few CC addresses (so others have also gotten the email), and I
click "Reply All" in Outlook.

The email message I am sending (my reply), has just the email addresses that
the email I received had. But after I send the reply, the recipients tell me
that they have received two identical emails from me.

I have received a suggestion from someone else, suggesting that it may be
Norton Antivirus that causes this problem as it scans outgoing messages. I
will investigate that as a possibility.

Are you aware of any other potential causes of this problem?

Thanks,

Mark
