XP Pro was installed on my machine this week. Outlook was installed and I now have two contacts lists - a blank one and the list that was saved prior to reinstallation of OS. How do I delete blank Contact list?

Also, would like to set up the Contact list as the default when I want to send a new message - it currently defaults to a Global Address List.

Thaks for any assistance.

Using Outlook 2003.

Figured out the default list for new messages (read older threads)

Older threads will answer your other question, too, but we can't. You
haven't specified where it is that you see two "Contact Lists"

Remove the duplicate listing here:
Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or address
books > Outlook Address Book > Change.
