I have to vm servers running off the host pc. All re set
to DHCP. The 2 vm's come up with the same ip address. If
you check dns records they both show different server
names but the same ip address. I try to release the ip and
renew, but it will not pick up a new one. The only fix I
have found is to remove and re-add one of the vm's to the
domain. Any ideas on this one?

Yes, do NOT use DHCP for servers, use Static addresses.

Remember DHCP will apply an IP address to a MAC address on your PC.
Since the PC has one network card, hence one MAC address, you get ONE
IP address.
