Duplicate IP Address

I have one unique problem. I have around 10 client
computers on my network. Out of which 3 computers are
showing same address 192.168.1.196. These computers are
also disconnecting frequently from LAN. I also try to
allocate them static IP address but after when I changed
to auto configuration it was taking same IP addresses.

Please help me if some one is aware about this problem.
